With each crisis comes a new discovery of oneself. Social rejection, peer pressure, drugs, bullying, mental and physical abuse are just several reasons why we lose thousands of teenagers each year to suicide in the United States. STAY ON THE LINE is a rock musical that focuses on the type of organization that tries bringing those numbers down. STAY ON THE LINE takes place at a crisis hotline center, and documents the journey of a handful of young volunteers and their callers as they face life and death in the course of 24 hours. Originally titled “24 Hours” the critically acclaimed, Ovation Award Nominee for Best Musical is back and completely revised with new songs and an entirely new book. This production is being dedicated to the loving memory of Tyler Clementi.
