At the height of the Spanish Inquisition, author Miguel de Cervantes is imprisoned and uses the story of knight-errant Don Quixote to defend himself. Full of indelible characters and a beautiful Latin-tinged score, Man of La Mancha ran for six years on Broadway and won the Tony for Best Musical. Starring Davis Gaines as Don Quixote and Lesli Margherita as Aldonza.
