1980’s. Reagan has won re-election – it’s the height of the 1980′s. This World Premiere Comedy about ambition, art, and acrimony, pits a father’s aspirations and a daughter’s dreams against each other. A funny, sweet and touching new play, “The Indians are Coming to Dinner” serves up family, politics, opera and some bad curry. PRT welcomes back director, Julia Fletcher to help celebrate our 25th Anniversary Season. ORIGINAL MUSIC by world famous drummer, composer Peter Erskine. Playwright JENNIFER W. ROWLAND’s other plays include ANYONE ELSE BUT ME, ONE GOOD DEATH, THE SCHOOL PLAYS, GOLF SHOP ROMANCE, THE CONTEST and ICE GIRL IN BUNGALOW B. THE CONTEST was first produced in the PRT Co-Op before going on to subsequent productions at the Powerhouse Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
