FIGURE 8, a world premier production. Using the seven deadly sins as a springboard, writer, L.A. native, and co-director (with Jerry Kernion) Phinneas Kiyomura weaves together 8 different stories of ordinary sinners fighting, flailing and fornicating their way through what passes for normal life in modern day Southern California. Travelling up the 5 freeway and along a fractured timeline, Figure 8 turns the very notion of sin 'round upon itself.
